Terms and conditions

1. Services provided

Pawsome Paws Crosby offers dog walking (solo and group walks), pet sitting, puppy visits and cat visits. All services are carried out with care, professionalism and in accordance with current animal welfare laws.

2. Bookings and payments

All bookings must be confirmed in advance. Payment is due at or before the time of service. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full.

3. Owner responsibilities

Owners must ensure their pets are up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and are fit to take part in booked activities. Pawsome Paws Crosby reserves the right to refuse service if a pet displays aggressive behaviour or is deemed unsafe.

4. Keys and home security

All client keys are coded and stored securely. Home security and confidentiality are taken seriously. Keys will only be used to carry out agreed services.

5. Emergencies and veterinary care

In the event of an emergency, Pawsome Paws Crosby will contact the owner immediately. If unreachable, the business is authorised to seek veterinary care at the nearest available clinic. The owner agrees to cover any associated costs.

6. Liability and insurance

Pawsome Paws Crosby is fully insured through Protectivity (Policy No. 444900315747) with public liability cover of £1,000,000. While all reasonable care is taken, the business cannot be held liable for illness, injury, loss or damage beyond its control.

7. Data protection

All client information is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data will only be used for business purposes and never shared with third parties without consent.

Authorisation

This key release form authorises Pawsome Paws Crosby, operated by Jenna Blackwell, to hold, use and return the keys required to access my property for the purpose of dog walking and pet care services.

Key storage

All keys are coded rather than labelled with names or addresses, and are stored securely. Keys are only used to carry out the services agreed.

Lost or damaged keys

Pawsome Paws Crosby is not responsible for locksmith fees or costs associated with lost or damaged keys unless due to negligence. In the event a key is lost by Pawsome Paws Crosby, the client will be told immediately.

Key return

Keys are returned by the method chosen in your account: hand delivered, left in an agreed secure location, or returned by post with postage covered by the client.
